Ezra Heller

Ezra Heller is a lover of printmaking and nature, currently working and making out of the Mid-Hudson Valley. Ezra is a teaching artist at multiple arts organizations and is passionate about building community through learning and teaching. A graduate of Suny New Paltz with a BFA in printmaking, their work utilizes materiality and delicacy of technique to explore and express observations and questions about mortality from a cosmic perspective, as well as temporality, growth, and entropy. Most of this work is achieved through the processes of Mezzotint and stone Lithography with handmade inks and tools, and features geological and organic textures – especially where they meet and manipulate one another.
