Acquired Tastes and Art Practice and Conversation opens Saturday at The DRAW Gallery

The Acquired Tastes exhibition is the culmination of the SUNY New Paltz installment of Community for Ethical Jewelry’s Radical Jewelry Makeover project. You will see a collection of madeover jewelry created entirely from donated jewelry (fine and costume) by the New Paltz Community including professional artists, students, and jewelers.
The exhibition and sale will be held at The DRAW Gallery in Kingston, NY with an opening reception on Nov 1st from 5-7pm.
Exhibition is open from Nov 1-15.

Art Practice and Conversation is a weekly self-guided class that offers space, structure, and a diverse range of materials for artists to experiment and expand their body of work. Participants guide the conversation and direction of the class–creating a local community for artists to work, engage in critical dialogue, and grow together with their peers.
Artists will be showing their work in the Lobby Gallery opening at the same times as above.
