The Midtown Business Alliance (MBA) is proud to announce the launch of Midtown Scene: Summer Fridays, a premier community initiative designed to celebrate the vibrant energy and cultural richness of Midtown Kingston. By partnering with cornerstone organizations that call the district home—including the Center for Photography at Woodstock (CPW), Midtown Kingston Arts District (MKAD), Rewind Kingston, and Radio Kingston—the MBA is inviting the public to experience a neighborhood defined by its creativity, resilience, and thriving local commerce.

This initiative represents a pivotal moment in the MBA’s ongoing mission to “change the lens” through which Midtown is viewed. Moving away from historically narrow perspectives, Midtown Scene: Summer Fridays focuses on the abundance of the present. It offers a fresh vantage point on a district that serves as the city’s geographic and emotional heart, showcasing the entrepreneurs, artists, and community leaders who drive Kingston’s collective spirit. This is more than a series of events; it is an invitation to engage with the authentic, high-energy community that defines Midtown today.

The pilot series will take place over three select Fridays in June, July, and August, serving as a catalyst for what the MBA envisions as a year-round celebration of the corridor. Attendees can expect a curated experience of visual arts, music, and open-door hospitality from the neighborhood’s diverse business community. As the MBA continues to see membership growth and renewed civic engagement, Midtown Scene: Summer Fridays stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and the bright future of the Midtown corridor.
